Street Play
Street play was performed on three locations in the heart of the city on the occasion of the
Earth Day. There was a very encouraging response and over
200 people watched the performance at each of the locations. After each play, we distributed cloth
bags to the crowd on complimentary basis. We repeated the performance on April 27
2002 at the Vitan superstore on a busy square.

Green Police Station
We met the Police Commissioner of Bangalore city and his support to transform the police stations to `Green Police
Station'. (Read More..).
They would act as centers where people could leave their old clothes for us to collect and also serve as outlets from where
people could collect cloth bags.
Banners and posters can be put up in the police stations and paint eco messages on the
proposed green police squad vehicles creating the first police force in the world to run such a program.
